The first time I heard him sing, it sounded like what you only hear on TV, after the studio has done its job. He was worshipping in songs but I was busy wondering in awe. The Guy’s voice is simply amazing; and his stage presence, inspiring. I learnt true worship from him.
I never thought musicians had much of the word. This guy ruined that mindset. His ability bring out the real meaning of the Scripture in its real context is wow! He unravels the truth like a shawarma wrap before your eyes, rightly dividing it.
When I heard he was into business as an Entrepreneur, I didn’t know what to think. I was kinda skeptical about his towing that path until I read the excerpts from his books on Facebook and had a rethink.
His insight on the subject matter of money is worth teaching to this generation. This guy is multitalented.
In spite of all these abilities, if someone doesn’t tell you this is Clarkson Ikwunze you wouldn’t know him. So gentle and humble. Down to earth and real. His sense of humour is funny as well.
I need not tell you he is a man of God. A huge chunk of what I learnt in my University days about the ways of God were from him (directly and indirectly).
This was supposed to be brief, but how can you summarize the influence and impact one exceptionally unique individual has had in your life for so many years with his songs, writings, words, and life? More like telling a kid to summarize the encyclopedia in 2 short sentences. Practically impossible!

Thank you sir for being Ikwunze Clarkson and no other person. You are one person I will keep recommending for and to people. For me, this is beyond what you will put on ur website. It is the available words to express how I feel about you. There’s so much more only eternity will reveal to you.

Clarkson C. Ikwunze is a man i have come to know as a man of God, influence and a leader with an exceptional ability, highly aspiring and known for excellence. Above all, he is a Christian and graced in all learning of Christ.
During the times i had an opportunity to work with him, a lot of things intrigued me about him like; his intelligence, vast knowledge, integrity, discipline and dedication of which i came to understand the secret behind his prowess. He is a reader, little wonder his leadership capabilities – “readers are leaders”, besides he is a genius in music ministry with an unadulterated grace and presence of God.

He influenced my life positively in many ways:
Firstly, he introduced and taught me grace.
Secondly, he encouraged me to not just read but make it a habit and ever since, i am forever grateful.
Thirdly, his prowess in leadership and music has one of it’s foundations in discipline which i intensified in too.

I know by now you would be wondering that he is definitely be a rigid and boring personality but surprisingly, he really is fun to be with; despite his strict regimented lifestyle, coming to know him personally, he is not just caring, he is very nice, humble and has a good sense of humor.

He is the kind of friend you wouldn’t trade for anything else.

I have come to know him as my friend, pastor and mentor.

In all, these are the few my words I can say about him but i bet you, he really is more than these, a personal experience with him would tell you better.

  3. I never knew what it meant to lead worship; Just throw a few familiar songs here and there and let the people repeat. But when i saw a different presence, people shouting, crying, on their knees. I wondered, where is this coming from, definitely, no man can do this but the spirit of god and anointing upon such a man.

You have blessed me and taught me a lot both personally and from the pulpit.
Your voice…i wont say anything about it. It speaks for itself, my words cant describe.
I am where I am now but by the Grace of God and your inspiration to follow.

Your teachings, Only God knows where they come from or what inspires you but they are extremely inspirational and motivational. God take you higher

His name is Clarkson Chibuzo Ikwunze. He’s really good at what he does. When it comes to writing, he writes with such unique unction that leaves the reader blessed. He is among the few persons on Facebook who without reading his post due to my tight schedule in the day just likes it, only for me to revisit that same post to discover how much of a blessing the post carries. He doesn’t mince words, he is also precise and goes straight to the point.

In terms of his personality, he’s one cool fellow to hang out with, always fun to be with and can be very funny at times. I could remember one of those days in fellowship, after service, he and some of the brethren were just hanging out, I was watching from a distance, the next thing I saw was P.Clark mimicking the way other people in fellowship prayed. Lol! I couldn’t contain myself with laughter, you needed to be there in person. In my mind, I was like, is it not this spiritual Bro. I know or is it another person? It was very funny. P.Clark “owero nsogbu” (meaning he doesn’t have any problem )

When it comes to teaching, you’d be surprised on how much revelation that would hit you when you listen to his teachings. I shouldn’t be saying this but it’s the truth, in fellowship, during our Bible studies, many brethren would be waiting patiently and targeting the class where P.Clark would minister notwithstanding the fact that they’ve already been assigned a different class other than his. Am not saying this to make him feel good. No! I’m saying this because that guy is worded. Whenever he comes visiting in my room, he’s always reaching out for my laptop where he could drink from the rich depths of the teachings of Pastor Joseph Prince.

The first time I listened to him worship at Ekpo ref in my first year, I was lost in His presence. “You are glorious ” by Chris Delvan Gwamna was the first song that he sang that triggered something in me , that was my first time hearing the song. His voice is so anointed that it literary would put demons on the run. There’s something angelic about his voice, you don’t get that kind of voice through voice training as good as voice training is, this one comes from above . He’s a true definition of who a worshipper is.

I’ve seen him minister, I’ve seen him worship and I make bold to say that this one is such a gift to mankind.

It’s a privilege knowing P.Clark. He has been a father, a mentor and a friend. He’s really good at what he does!

  5. Clarkson Ikwunze in one word – DRIVEN.

His focus has brought about a lot of accomplishments for himself and the body of Christ. He is one man who knows how to get a set goal accomplished. He taught me this lesson and it has been a guiding light to me from the day he said it “Do the one thing that will allow for the other things to be done”.

One of the many voices I listen to. One voice I think you should listen to

  6. AGU JOYSMITH says:

I have known Clarkson C.Ikwunze for two years now.During this period, I have found him to be caring, soft spoken, supportive, intelligent, humble, meek, principled, optimistic, the embodiment of wisdom, and most of all his beaming smiles never fades. His excellence at organization and management baffles me.He is a speaker whose write ups are timely, cutting across the pain, disappointment and the likes people face to soothe the heart.

He is indeed a spirit filled worship leader and an illustrious teacher. The impact made in my life through his book(sing better, stronger and healthier), his teachings and concerts can not be over emphasized.I now understand the underlying meaning in his words”there’s just something about worship”.

    • I really can not say thanks enough for this awesome words you’ve dropped here. God bless you greatly Joy. I appreciate that you found time to do this. Thank You

  7. Puah Omotueme says:

I find it a very great privilege, writing about a FATHER Indeed, Sir Clarkson. He is a father, a worshiper, a teacher, a pastor, a mentor, a confider, a role model and lots more…
His posts and teachings many times straighten my tracks. I actually learnt real facts from the Bible through his teachings and guidelines.
There are times I seem depressed and confused, through his write ups, it seems like he knows about my troubles and through his posts I discovered that there is much more than a hope for me (he is an inspired writer).

Looking at his act of Trust, humility and responsibility, he is PERFECT!

Talking about WORSHIP! Hmm… Though I am speechless, but I must say this: Whenever he worships, it dawns on me that the heavenly dignitaries are in the building and have joined in the act. Time will really fail me to point out instances. I have also learnt what worship is all about(Jesus) through him.

Sincerely from my heart I would have loved to say more but, words of mouth cannot explain Clarkson’s personality. As a daughter I don’t have anything to pay, but I pray that God would continuously enlarge your cost and always grant you the desires of your heart. More GRACE, More HEALTH, More FRUITFULNESS.

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH SIR.

  8. I was a fresh man in school and I was invited by a friend to this concert by CASOR fellowship. All I remember is I can’t forget the praise/worship session of that day. Pastor CK (as we call him) was the praise leader that day with his ‘anointed face towel’ jumping and singing with so much passion.

I will never forget my days with him as our music director. We always stayed past rehearsal time, not because we weren’t done rehearsing, but because Gods presence is just home. I believe I started speaking in the holy ghost in one of those rehearsals. As a young man, it was just the kind of influence I needed: pure, passionate, unrestrained worship.

I literally attended every programme that pastor CK was invited to just to hear him sing. Vocally, he is a beast. Most times am like this guy has to be the best vocalist in Nigeria. The vocal runs, the high pitches, the combo-phones, awesomeness.

He has also shown that worship leaders can be anointed teachers of Gods word. I have learnt a lot from his sound teachings and wisdom nuggets. Breaking down religious barriers and mediocre mindsets. He is an ardent reader, with books enough to fill a small school library.
His charisma will always draw a following from anyone that meets him. He is always breaking boundaries and reaching for the impossible. He has mentored a generation of passionate worshippers all around.

The crazy part is, he is genuinely humble, friendly and kind. I always wished him to be my spiritual general overseer, #lol, but today he is my Friend and ‘Oga at the apex’. When I’m confused and out of options, I run to his house and I leave with my compass re-calibrated.

His passion and devotion has ignited a fire for God in the hearts of many people. He is a candle light that has lit up a myriad of other candles who are unashamed to shine out with the glory of God. I’m glad I met you sir.

  9. Princewill says:

student and teacher of the Word,
    astute businessman and entrepreneur,

Clarkson Ikwunze is the complete package when these matters come to play.
Open your mind and get ready to be blown away.

  10. Precious Okechukwu says:

Clarkson is a man I respected right from the day I saw him. There is something about him and I later came to know that as the Glory and the Presence of God. He is a realist and also a visionary.

God blessed Nigeria with Clarkson Ikwunze and it has been a privilege working with Him.
    God bless you Sir.

  11. Cynthia Emenike says:

    Wow!!!
All the testimonies here are really intimidating.
Now I really don’t know what to say.
Well..i guess I’ll just have to say the little I can.
Cute, Calm, Gifted, Focused, Passionate, God Fearing. Humble.
To actually mention a few ,
    Are qualities,
    wrapped in one package,
    Embedded in one person.
    Clarkson Chibuzo Ikwunze.
You know how when you meet someone and you sense Greatness?
That’s how I felt when I met him.
I might not have known him for a very long time ,
But the impact within this short time has been tremendous
So tremendous, that sometimes I imagine how great it would have been if I had known him earlier.
    He’s a friend
    More like a big brother
    A role model.
He’s one person I’m proud to identify with
    Anytime,
    Anywhere,
    Any day.
One of the best things that can happen to an individual is to get to know him .
The truth is I’ve actually been trying for days to compose this write up.
But how do you write something about someone that is totally Awesome?
    Words seem to be lacking.
They don’t do justice to describing him.
I guess all I’m really trying to say is
    CLARKSON IKWUNZE IS AWESOME .

  12. Ezenwa Chima O. (OBED. C) says:

Clarkson is a great singer, speaker, writer, motivator, mentor, father and a friend whom God has been using to bless many lives today.

The first day I heard him sing, I was dumbfounded because the atmosphere was saturated with the glory of God. It felt like we should all stay back and continue in worship. Nobody was thinking about anything except ‘worship’ and then Later discovered that his favorite quote was: “There is something about worship” and this quote reflects each time he worships because you will end up saying, ‘There is really something about worship!’. It’s an experience; it’s awesome.

I always hear his voice over the microphone and as a music producer, I know that some microphones magnify and beautify people’s voices but then the day I heard him sing without one, his voice and skills blew my mind.

The day I heard him speak, I was baffled at his knowledge of the Word and the affairs of life in general. I decided to acquaint myself with him and I discovered that he was humble and friendly as well despite his worth.

His life has been an inspiration and motivation to many including myself. He is a blessing to this generation and the world at large.
